Please let me start by apologising for the lack of blog posts throughout October, I have been on a number of customer service focused training courses and have been helping to train the staff at our new dedicated call centre.
Our lines are now open from 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm over the weekend, we have over 30 dedicated call handers here to help you to keep in touch with your loved one in prison. We have also done away with the 08444430834 number and replaced it with a more favourable 02071279128 number so mobile callers are not charged any extra to call our offices then if calling a standard BT landline.
We are also developing an improved prison directory which we hope you will find useful, we think its going to be the most comprehensive prison directory and source of information available in the UK so watch this space! (we are hoping its ready by the end of the month!)
In other news we have been helping to keep prisoners fit and healthy by providing a double page gym pull-out guide in the centre of the new prisoners newspaper JAILMAIL. The paper has seen a fantastic response now in its second edition the editor has been asked by many of the UK’s prisons to increase the amount of papers he sends in which is fantastic!
Take a look at the publications online (digital versions of Jail Mail) don’t forget to check out the back page to see what I’ve been up to that has unfortunately forced me to neglect this blog last month 🙁
So just a short one for today (its 7am and I’m just about to get on the train and talk at another customer service training seminar!)
