HMP Guernsey is a mixed category prison. Unlike most establishments, it holds both male and female inmates and caters for a wide range of ages; from juveniles aged 14 upwards to adults. Situated at Les Nicolles on the island of Guernsey, the prison has a capacity of 130 and has 11 wings in total. There is a focus on lowering rates of reoffending and resettling prisoners after they have served their sentence.
